It’s no secret that video has become an important tool to use in any social media marketing program.
At Crozer-Keystone Health System, we had an extensive video program that included nearly 300 videos on YouTube and Facebook. Most of the videos had been produced by a professional videographer but there came times when there was not enough time to schedule a video shot. At other times, we did not need the same level of quality, or it was a situation in which a quick “run-and-gun” approach would work best.
In those cases, I would grab my trusty Canon camera and a shotgun microphone, shoot the video, edit, and upload to YouTube and Facebook the same day. Here are two videos I shot to help spread the word that the health system was implementing a new communications system that would allow emergency medical services works to provide patient information to doctors and nurses waiting in the emergency department.
Combined, the two videos received nearly 10,000 views on Facebook.
