I wrote the front (non-financial) section of Universal Health Services, Inc.’s annual reports for 11 years. Here are two samples of my work.
My process for writing annual report copy was to meet separately with the CEO and CFO, then use the information to develop an outline. As soon as the CEO approved my outline, I’d start writing. After some minor revisions suggested by the CEO, the copy would be done.
